The Giver, simply because I had never remembered before that the people in the book were euthanized if they became too old, if newborns didn't meet up to the standards, or if they screwed up badly. It scared the hell out of me when I reread it recently :(

I want a telepod to exist so badly, but I don't want to end up like Jeff Goldblum in The Fly. :(

I would totally love a holiday where various cultures from all around the world come together and teach others their customs, traditions, stories, etc. It would be called Folklore Week! I have no idea if such a holiday exists already, but there needs to be one.

Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley. Sorry, but I've been Rickrolled so many damn times I've literally memorized the whole song and video. And it's a testament to how I'll hate some songs viciously, then grow to love them over many repeated hearings :D
